Going through my closet this year I told myself that I would finally dress for me. For people that know me know I don’t go out much so I didn’t see the need to shop for myself. lol I still don’t go out as much as I would like but I am finally getting to the point were I am really loving the individual items I have in my closet. These trousers are my first pair i have purchased in ……6 years, but the way these made my butt look I just couldn’t pass them up. I believe they are in the Eva Mendez collection at New York & Company. They were $19.00 I would have gladly spent again.
I at times find myself thinking about that particular time of my life…..from high school to college and how crazy it was, the people I came across ( teachers/professors included) cultural differences, experiences etc. I’m greatful to it all the good and the bad.
I honestly got to say I’m pleased to have had the experience and path I did cause not only was it apart of what made me….well me, but it opened my mind up to incredible ways of thinking including acceptance of differences.
Bye summer sixteen you were good to me but let the good times roll into fall. Yesterday was the first day of fall but I stay in Memphis so it’s still 90 degrees outside. So below there’s a couple of pictures of me still channeling my summer wear into fall.
Plain midi dresses have so much potential. I love how basic they are and you can pretty much add anything with them.
Kimye’s Styling Notes:
Excuse me for loving this color right now. Im trying to mustard up the courage to wear this color….lol you get it “MUSTARD”. Seriously though I had a sweater in my closet this color from the last time this color was in (a while ago) and I never wore it. This time I will; I just love how neutral and subtle it is. I will show you my ‘Almost ‘ favorite color pick soon!
I am still a 90’s Chick and love my black and white. Puma did a great job with this collection the pictures really grabbed my eye and made me look a second time because of the textures.
There is something about autumn, the change of leaves, the much cooler air and the the thing I’m more thankful for during this time is the ability to layer.
It is the one season where everything looks so beautiful and calm. When autumn comes around I always picture New York, it’s an incredible emotion. I must say it is the best time of the year for me. So ladies and gentlemen grab the heavy coats/Jackets from the back of your wardrobe and brace yourself.
There is a level of artistic understanding to autumn styles that I highly appreciate
